Possibly
the most acclaimed installment in
Super Mario history, Super Mario Bros.
3 brought with it a slew of massive
new worlds for Mario to explore and
power ups to obtain and master.
One
of the most memorable aspects of this
game was its promotion through "The
Wizard", a movie about a young
child that attempt to win a video
game marathon competition. Super Mario
Bros. 3 was the final game played,
which not only met great excitement
and enthusiasm from fans, but also
revealed one of the most well known
secrets; the Warp Whistle.
Throughout
Mario's adventure, Peach sends him
letters that contain advice and caution,
containing an extra power up he could
use at anytime before entering a new
level. Unfortunately, Peach is eventually
kidnapped as Mario defeats the last
Koopaling, forcing Mario to fight
his way through Dark Land and rescue
the fair princess once again.
