-My costume for Sakuracon 09, Seattle. Princess Peach!! This was a...somewhat "improvised" version of her Brawl outfit. I wanted to do a suedo-french revolution kinda thing. You know- a period piece. BIG BIG BIG thanks and a ton of credit to my dedicated mother. My hero. She listened to me ramble on about how this was to look, and she shivered with fear at all the fabric I chose- but she totally pulled this off. Id've been crap without her, I'm just a prop girl, and the model- mom did the grunt work, she's freaking amazing.
She also kept her cool making the umbrella with me. XD

The wig was actual human hair, I styled it by using add on bangs for the side flips and chops (lol) - as well as thicken the bangs in the front. I got to use a flat iron on it, made life easier, ohh yes. Hope you guys think I made a good princess ;D
I had SO much fun in this and got tons of wonderful feedback at the con, thanks so much everybody! I felt like genuine royalty!

-One of my dream cosplays, fulfilled. I've always admired Princess Peach, even as a kid. I remember, she was one of the few girl options in games, so my sister and I would argue who would play her. Ahaha.

-I was so excited when I saw Peach's Super Smash Brothers Brawl design, I knew I had to make it right away! There was just so much lace and so much pink, it was perfect for me! XDD It took me quite a long time to finally complete it but there were a few trial and error areas a long the way. I think my favorite part about this cosplay is the wig, it took two wigs put together to make but I think it was worth it, I really wanted the hair to be big, like Peach's always seems to be, and I think I was able to do a pretty ok job with it. ^__^ My least favorite part is probably the gloves, I have the white part going up to a white on white floral design like it shows in the SSBB trophy, but I can never get it to fit right on me, ugh! XDD All in all I am happy with the finished cosplay! One thing I will say is that this cosplay has taken so long and so much fabric, it almost made me hate pink for a moment, lol, ALMOST! XDD

Well, here I am in all of my 80's Glam Fashions. I'm proud enough of the costume that I'll swallow my pride and put up my *clears throat* cosplay.
The costume is 98% finished. I still have a few things to completely finish off, but who knows when I'll actually do it, you know?
I went to Megacon as Peach and my roommate was Zelda. Hopefully I'll post some duo pictures soon.
I can't even fathom the amount of time I put into this.

I'm the one on the right, not as good, but it was rushed, and I paid for someone else to make the dress - least I got tips on how to improve for October (This was the Excel London anime expo 26/5/07).
Need to:
Unstitch skirt and make waist slightly lower (arm and block hides it there)
Grow hair or get wig (did dye it a lighter blonde the night before, but didn't take, should be lighter) Smaller crown (didn't help my other half stole the crown to wear himself!)
Shorter gloves. Puff up sleeves more and make them shorter. Maybe a petticoat.

So anyway, as most of you probably know, this is Peach's soccer uniform in Super Mario Strikers. And I am quite proud to boast that I am the first person to cosplay as Strikers Peach EVER!!!

Well, as far as I know. And please don't prove me wrong...I like to feel special! =D And...dammit, I just realized that I forgot to put on the earrings. But, if anyone saw me at A-Kon, you can testify that I was wearing them at the con.

This is a picture of me at Onicon 2006, in my Princess Peach dress. It was my first con and it was so much fun!

The dress itself took about a month to make (though it wasn't worked on every single day). I'm really happy with how it turned out and I suppose everyone at Onicon was too. I got a lot of pictures taken. ^-^
